When your practise shoot is completed, try and get it all edited this week. Play around with sound, still images etc until you feel confident with the basics of imovie. Try and do each step with her at a time so bounce back and forth between tools and her video. There are loads of tutorials on youtube. I found this one useful to start off with and then just type in anything you're having trouble with.
